Read the silhouette, then the heads
Special boards replace a regular rectangle with an approved object or animal outline. The outline helps you orient yourself, but it does not decide the removal order. Start at a head and trace its escape ray just as you would on a regular board.
Narrow features can hide dependencies
A small protrusion or cutout may make a head look isolated while its ray still crosses a distant body. Zoom into thin sections, then zoom back out to confirm the full line. Treat empty space outside the silhouette differently from an occupied route inside it.
The cat remains part of the board
A protected pocket reserves space for the cat. Every other playable cell belongs to a snake, so the shape feels filled rather than scattered. Clear all routes to complete the rescue, including short snakes tucked near the outline.
Find shapes across the modes
The campaign mixes silhouettes with regular boards. Daily Challenge has a separate set of approved shapes, and Rush includes simpler silhouettes designed to stay readable with at most 30 snakes. Each collection keeps the same escape rule.
Common questions
Do shapes introduce a new control?
No. Tap a snake with a clear head ray, exactly as on a regular board.
Are all special shapes harder?
No. Difficulty depends on blocker relationships and the work of the solution, not just the outline.
